Tailored to the confidence and ability of all participants, workshops focus on working creatively with conflict and diversity as a valuable resource instead of a problem to be solved.                                                             Lee Workshop 1Playwright and Artistic Director of The Elements World Theatre Lee Gershuny introduces principles and tools of the creative process in two series of workshops: “Performing Arts as Meditation” (PAM) and “Instant Peace Lab” (IPL).                                                                                                                             These non-judgmental, flexible workshops encourage experimentation, risk taking and creativity.Workshops offer participants an opportunity to:
1. Develop confidence in their own voice, regardless of their level of training;
2. Develop improvisation and performance skills;
3. Learn creative ways of working with personal and group conflict;
4. Tap inner sources of creativity; and
5. Have fun!

INSTANT PEACE LAB

IMG_0173Discover the power of now as you work creatively with conflict as a pathway to peace. Explore different ways to dissolve a conflict before it starts and resolve it before it escalates. Practice seeing things as they are, both inwardly and outwardly, and choosing based on what’s most important to you in the moment. Tap inner sources of creativity and wisdom and discover new insights and actions for living your full potential now.

PERFORMING ARTS AS MEDITATION

IMG_0104Performing Arts as Meditation is a fun, challenging way to develop creativity from the inside out with both structured and free improvisations in a relaxed, non- judging environment. Discover opportunities to pause, listen, reflect and go deeper as you tap inner sources of creativity and wisdom with eyes open as well as closed. No experience required in meditation or performance. Please bring something to explore and/or a work-in-progress.
