Synopsis
After fleeing the dangers of the Shadow World, 3 women risk their lives to save a stranger from Death. Depressed and suicidal, the Stranger ignores or resists their weird ways to rescue her. Believing they've won the battle with Death, the 3 take a rest. While they are sleeping, Life/Death enters and turns them into puppets. Life/Death then teaches the Stranger the dance of life, enabling her to transform her self-pity into joy. Life/Death and the Stranger exit together, dancing into the Shadow World. With the Stranger gone, the 3 become depressed at having failed to rescue her. When the "Stranger" reappears as a puppet, they listen to her secret with calm compassion. They start their journey again, seeing it as it is in the present - free and beautiful.
