Love Fables and Mysteries
Tuesday, 23rd February 2010

Every year since the inception of the Middle Eastern Spirituality and Peace Festival (MESP) in 2004, The Elements World Theatre has been invited to present new work, dramatising the themes of the festival. This year, the Company is again presenting a new drama, Love Fables and Mysteries, by Artistic Director Lee Gershuny and directed by Corinne Harris with the sound scape by Nik Paget-Tomlinson. The cast includes Robert Williamson, Corinne Harris and the Playwright:

A man and woman have a story to tell about love...They argue about the facts...Who’s right and who’s wrong? What really happened? Love seems to slip through their fingers until they meet creatures from their own personal menagerie: “A Couple of Chameleons,” “Wounded Bird as Vulture,” “Clipped Wings,” and “The Hawk and the Dove.” Is it their story, your story or someone else’s?

Guided by music, poetry and a passion for the truth, they travel through the real and fantasy world of lovers – discovering its mysteries and magical transformations...telling secrets they never thought they had.
